Well, it’s been eleven days now since doctors put us on “any day now” notice, but that’s just not binding on a little girl, I suppose. ?No baby yet.
I’m also approaching the halfway point of Richard Dawkins’s book The God Delusion, and I’ve been scribbling furiously for a blog review of it. ?I know I’m very, very late for that dance, but this blog has never claimed to be cutting edge, has it?
Now I’m going to grab a quick bit of lunch, then settle in for an afternoon of paper grading. ?I’m going to try hard as many of these done as I can before I head for the hospital. ?We’ll see what happens.

Let us know when the little one decides to make an appearance! Until then, don’t let Dawkins get you down. I hate that book.
Oh, it’s not getting me down. If anything, I’m amused at just how parasitic it is on the generic forms and conventions of fundamentalist/evangelical apologetics texts from the late twentieth century. That’s actually what the post (as it’s drafted right now) mainly deals with. (I’m going to wait until I finish the book actually to post it.)
