Well, I was going to upload one of Miriam’s less-than-an-hour-old pictures so that everybody could see, but the hospital’s wireless connection is kind of slow the way the Pope is kind of German.? My website provider disconnected twice, assuming that I was just kidding about uploading a file.? So keep looking back here for pictures, and they’ll be up in a few days when everyone gets home.

Don’t forget to rest! (Yeah, I know. that sounded odd even as I was typing.)
Joe
Don’t worry; I already passed the first rest hurdle. When 3:00 this morning came, and Miriam went to sleep, so did I. The laptop did not at that time boot up.
Yay! So exciting. I’m sure she’s as beautiful as her mommy. How does Micah feel about being a big brother?
He and his grandparents just left, and although the hospital setting scared him at first, by the end he was quite happy with his new lot in life. (It didn’t hurt that I let him play with the video camera. He rather enjoyed making movies about Miriam’s interactions with the rest of us.)
Wonderful news, and I don’t believe Jessica’s claims about the child’s name for a moment.
