The only thing that makes me grumpier than the secularizing of Christian holidays is when Christians overreact to such. (That's not really true because I'm not that upset by secularized holy days to begin with.) Lately my Dad has taken to substituting 'CHRISTmas' for Christmas in all his correspondence. I mean, what would we do if the term with all capitals were co-opted, insist on spelling it all in bold? Or maybe we should insist on flaming letters? Sorry, I'm clearly venting.
