That about sums it up.? I’m battling a cold, and Mary’s home sick with a stomach virus.? Micah for the moment is healthy, but I know full well that can change.? And neither Mary nor I slept much at all last night with Mary’s frequent trips to spew forth the unfortunate fruits of the stomach virus.? I think I’m going to try to catch a couple winks now–I believe she’s asleep for the moment, and Micah’s at school.? Should I be grading papers?? Yes.? But if I started, I’d just end up asleep, slumped over my computer.? I’d just as soon sleep on the bed.

I hope you weren’t sleeping when my Phils won the World Series!!
I’m afraid I was; my baseball season ended well before last night–there was neither a team I loved nor a team I hated in the Series this year, so I contented myself with reading about it in the newspaper. (For that matter, I’m not sure things would have been different had the Cubbies been in it, but that sort of thing is hard to say.)
