If you hadn’t noticed, there is a new permanent link above the banner image. I’m teaching a series on angels in Sunday school during Advent, and I’m going to give the folks in the class a link to that page in case they lose their handouts or want to read some of the texts to which I refer in the class.
My usual teaching method for church classes is to crawl through a book of the Bible, correcting the tendency of many Sunday school classes and Bible studies to pick pet topics, fish for isolated sayings that (out of context) deal with the happy question of the day, and pretend to be teaching Scriptures. So this project has been a rough one for me. But I think that my first three lessons are solid enough that I could call them Christian teaching without crossing my fingers.
